Welcome to the Gathering
August 8th, 2026 (rain date August 9th)
Since 1989, the Edenvale Classic Aircraft Foundation has hosted the Gathering of the Classics, bringing together airplane and car enthusiasts from across Southern Ontario for one incredible day. The event runs from 10am - 4pm, and admission can be paid upon arrival. Lots of on-site parking is available.
We invite all classic and interesting aircraft and cars to the Gathering!
The Avro Arrow full size replica and the Arrow museum will be open for the Gathering as well.
We have had the privilege of hosting aircraft from the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association, the Great War Flying Museum, Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, and the Tiger Boys. This is not a fly-in to miss!
We are looking for volunteers at the Gathering. Email us at info@classicaircraft.ca if you would like to help or a flight.
Vintage Aircraft Flights
Seeing vintage airplanes on the ground is one things, but getting to take flight one is another experience altogether! At the Edenvale Gathering of the Classics, you will have the opportunity to purchase a ride in the ECAF Tiger Moth or Cornell and see the event from the best seats n the house!
We have been honoured to feature the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association (CHAA), who offer rides in their RCAF Harvard aircraft.
We have also had the option to go on local sightseeing via helicopter.
Classic Cars
Supported by the Wasaga Beach Cruisers, ECAF is proud to host literally hundreds of classic cars every year for the Gathering of the Classics.

Fun for the whole family
The Gathering of the Classics is a great time for enthusiasts (or future enthusiasts) of all ages! The ECAF mini planes are a blast for kids to race around our race course.
We feature vendors, food trucks, and a whole lot to see & do. Make sure to mark your calendars for the 1st Saturday of August.
Pilots: GOTC Arrival Procedures
For those who plan to fly in to the Gathering of the Classics, please familiarize yourself with our "Procedure", your vigilance and attention is greatly appreciated!
We have extensive parking space available, and pilots are not required to sign up prior to arriving.
Pilots flying in receive free admission to the Gathering of the Classics.
